    How do I search equine classifieds?

    On Whinny.ca, you can search equine ads in three ways. 

    1. View all listings – all listings are easily found under the explore listings page. Ads are listed by the latest listings by default.
    2. General search – to conduct a general search, navigate to the home page where you can search for listings using basic filters.
    3. Advanced search – you can completely customize your search by navigating to the explore listings page, where you will find a number of filters to conduct an advanced search.

    Account Questions

    How do I create an account?

    Making an account on Whinny.ca has many benefits. Making an account lets you add and edit listings, view listing statistics, and bookmark favourite ads. 

    Easily make a Whinny.ca account by following these instructions:

    1.  Navigate to the Sign in or Register page and select the “Register” tab.
    2. Enter your personal information, and select the “Sign Up” tab. 
    3. You will receive a confirmation of account email prompting you to update your password.

    And that’s it! Your user name will be autogenerated using your email account. 

    How do I change my password?

    Need a new password? No problem! 

    1. Sign in to your account
    2. Select the Account Details tab
    3. Type in your new password!

    I forgot my password!

    No worries, simply go to the Sign in or Register page and click on “Forgot password?”. Input the requested information and you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password to the email you used to create the account.

    What listing pages are available?

    Whinny.ca offers flexible and competitive listing packages. 

    Silver Package – List up to 2 horses per month for free!

    Gold Package – For only $4 (on sale for $1 until December 31, 2024!), list as many horses as you need, and they will all be featured ads! Ads expire monthly.

    NOTE: Ads are easily renewed under the my My Listings. This allows you to re-publish your ad without having to recreate it each month, saving you time!

    How do I post an ad?

    Whinny.ca was created with the seller in mind. Making an ad has never been easier! Follow these steps to post an ad: 

    1. Log in to your account
    2. Click on Add a Listing
    3. Choose your Listing Type
    4. Complete the Listing Form
    5. Select “Preview Listing” to take a peek at your completed listing
    6. Click on “Submit Listing” to have your listing posted

    How do I edit an ad?

    Updating and editing ads on Whinny.ca is easy. Simply sign in to your account, and select My Listings. From there, you will see all your listings with various options including “edit”. 

    How do I delete an ad?

    To remove your ad, simply sign in to your account, and select My Listings. From there, you will see all your listings with various options including “delete”. 

    How do I see if my listing is getting traction?

    Whinny.ca helps sellers know how well their ad is doing by providing statistics for each of your listings! To see the stats for your ad, sign in to your account and select the My Account tab. From there, you will see all your listings with various options including “stats”. 

    How long is my listing valid for?

    All ads listed on Whinny.ca are valid for 30 days. Ads are easily renewed under the My Listings tab.
